Stuart Sutcliffe - Diary & Journal
Circa 1960. Written in mainly black ink on lined white paper, the journal written while in Art College with John Lennon. The work consisting of approximately 52 pages including writings for a novel "Spotlight on Johnny", summaries of John's letters to Stu Sutcliffe, notes on painting, lecture notes, small sketches, and essays on philosophy. The novel concentrating on the art college biographies of John Lennon and Stu Sutcliffe and a psychological character analysis of John Lennon.
- "...At this point I ought to point out that this story started out as a diary; but I didn't want it to be just a calender of dates and events. It didn't work out like that, I found myself constantly referring to John and his moods. So I decided that it was safer if I studied John more closely in order that the plan I had in mind would work more thoroughly..."
Bound in a new leather binder, with a gold stamped signature on the cover and front page. Unique. First Page has Stuart Sutcliffe autograph. This Book Is Unique and Historically Important.
